A former Deputy National Chairman of the People Democratic Party,PDP,Chief Olabode George has advised First Lady,Senator Oluremi Tinubu to channel part of the over N20billion realised to complete the National Library in Abuja recently towards building skill acquisition centres all over the country.
Speaking Thursday at the 9th Annual Conference of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, GOCOP the former military administration said this will help refocus the youths and reduce ravaging unemployment in the country.
As for him the country need to return the governance model to what it was during the early days of independence disrupted by the military regime.
He attributes the lack of development in the country to the top to bottom governance model embarked upon by the military regimes and now a feature of the Presidential system.
As for him,the constitution needed to be rewritten to reflect the true reality of the country if it is to attain a reasonable level of development.

Delivering his opening address on the theme of the conference titled- Reconciling Campaign Promises with Governance Realities:Challenges and Prospects, the former Ondo State Military Governor said there is no part of the country that is not endowed but added that the natural endowments are not well utilised.
“The essence of democracy is the utilisation of the resources God has blessed us with ,but Why are we like this.”
He advised those in authority to ensure that their impact is felt by the people they govern.
He observed that the people receiving the inadequacy of those managing its affairs deserve pity.
